Botlark is free hosting for Discord bots and applications, run by Botlark Demo. No credit card, no trial clock, no locked-down box.
Free hosting has a reputation, and it is mostly deserved. The usual version hands you a crippled container, hides the console, throttles you the moment anyone uses your bot, and waits for you to give up and pay. The free tier is not a product in its own right. It is a funnel.
We wanted the other thing: a free tier that is genuinely usable, built the way the paid kind is built. You get a real control panel, a live console, a file manager, backups, databases and DDoS protection. The same machinery a paying customer would get, because running two qualities of platform is more work than running one good one.
Three steps, and the longest one is deciding what to build.
We send a magic link. There is no password to set, no card to enter, and nothing to cancel later.
Node.js, Python, Java, Bun, Go, Rust, or a ready-made project from the Software Library.
Your server is provisioned automatically and you are live in about a minute. Renew it with points you earn rather than money.
Someone pays for the servers. Being straight about who is the least we owe you.
A small number of ads across the site cover the hosting bill. They are the reason the free tier is not a trial.
Opt in to share a slice of unused bandwidth and the site goes ad-free while it runs, and you earn points. Entirely optional.
Servers renew with points you earn by using the platform, so an active project never hits a paywall.
Points are the part people ask about most. You earn them by showing up: a daily check-in, a referral, running Botlark Desktop. You spend them renewing your server or adding resources. An active project stays online indefinitely without anyone paying, and an abandoned one eventually frees its slot for someone who will use it.
Pick a runtime and deploy. Node.js, Python, Java, Bun, Go and Rust are all one click, and the Software Library adds ready-made open source projects that deploy themselves.
No mystery box. Botlark runs on the same stack and tooling a paying platform would pick, and it is worth saying out loud because free services usually cut corners here first: a shared panel, a single box, someone's spare laptop.
The panel is our own fork of Pelican, and the whole thing is containerised and deployed from CI.
Botlark is operated by Botlark Demo, Demo address, which is responsible for the service and for the data it holds about you.
You can export everything we hold about you, or delete your account outright, from your account settings. No email to support, no waiting.
